Skin Tags

Skin tags are small lesions, often on a stem but may be flat.

  They tend to grow on the skin in areas of friction, around the neck, under the arms, where clothing rubs. 

 Benign, but we will always check, they are simply removed

Moles

Moles, also known as nevi,  are lesions which can occur on any part of the body.

A normal skin growth that develops when pigment-producing cells (melanocytes) grow in groups.

They appear as small, dark marks, or sometimes flesh-coloured small bumps, on your skin.

Moles are usually harmless.

They may contain hairs or become raised or wrinkled.

During consultation we will establish if there has been any change in the color or size of a mole,

 if itching, pain, bleeding or inflammation has developed. 

Should these changes be reported we can screen to Dermatology

to ensure safe treatment prior to any removal.
